On November 6, 2024, Mr. Theerathai Charoenwong, Secretary-General of the Office of the Judiciary, and Pol. Col. Suriyah Singhakamon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Acting Director-General of the Probation Department, jointly signed a memorandum of understanding. The agreement focuses on the collaboration to utilize electronic monitoring devices (EM), or EM bracelets, for offenders involved in drug-related crimes and sexual or violent offenses.
