On November 7, 2024, former Member of Parliament and well-known figure Chuwit Kamolvisit attended a merit-making ceremony at Baan Phra Arthit, commemorating the 34th anniversary of Manager newspaper and celebrating the 77th birthday of its founder, Sondhi Limthongkul. The ceremony included alms-giving to nine monks, marking both the newspaper’s anniversary and Sondhi’s personal milestone.

Upon Chuwit’s arrival at 10:30 a.m., Sondhi warmly embraced him, expressing well-wishes and sharing blessings from his meditation practices. Sondhi symbolically transferred positive energy to Chuwit, encouraging him to "breathe in deeply" and invoked blessings for his health and well-being.

Chuwit presented Sondhi with a garland, expressing gratitude for the support and urging him to continue fighting for Thai society. Sondhi, in return, assured Chuwit of his importance to the public, noting the respect and appreciation he’s earned from the Thai people. He affirmed their friendship, adding that all past conflicts were forgotten.

In a lighthearted exchange, Chuwit joked about the day being unusually free of criticism, prompting a laugh from Sondhi. The two then proceeded inside the venue, warmly received by attending media.
