The 2024 Loy Krathong Festival in Thailand will take place on Friday, November 15, and several locations nationwide have organized unique events to mark the celebration. In Chiang Mai, the Yi Peng Festival will be held under the theme "Enchanting Mae Rim, Artistic Lights & Cultural Splendor" from November 14–17, featuring traditional sky lanterns and cultural displays. Bangkok’s "Colors of the River" festival will run from November 13–16 along the Phadung Krung Kasem Canal, showcasing decorative water displays and performances.

In Sukhothai, the "Loy Krathong and Candle Festival" will span from November 8–17 at the Sukhothai Historical Park, blending ancient ceremonies with light and sound shows. Tak province will host the "Krathong Sai Festival of Thousand Lights" along the Ping River from November 9–18, creating a striking display of thousands of floating krathongs. Other highlights include the "Naga Fireball Festival" in Nong Khai, which began on October 16, and special ceremonies in Chachoengsao and Chonburi.

These events reflect the diversity of Loy Krathong traditions across Thailand, allowing locals and visitors to experience the rich cultural heritage of each region.
