On November 9, temperatures in Loei province dropped significantly, bringing cool morning weather and widespread fog. In Mueang Loei, the temperature reached 17°C, while higher altitudes like Phu Kradueng National Park saw lows of 13°C, and Phu Ruea National Park recorded the coldest temperature at 9°C. With such conditions, local tourist destinations are actively preparing to welcome winter visitors.

During weekends, Phu Ruea National Park attracts early morning tourists eager to experience the 9°C chill, view winter blooms, and take in the mist-laden mountain vistas. According to Ms. Netnapa Ngamnet, head of Phu Ruea National Park, visitors start their ascent before dawn, dressed in warm attire, to reach the summit and pay respects to a revered local Buddha statue. Tourists enjoy the breathtaking scenes of thick morning fog drifting among the lush green mountains, making it a prime photo opportunity. Additionally, visitors can relax at the nearby Phu Ruea Café, a scenic spot surrounded by pine trees offering warm beverages.

The national park has implemented measures to enhance visitor safety and comfort, including cleanliness, improved facilities, and landscape upgrades. The park encourages local businesses to warmly welcome and assist the influx of tourists expected during the winter season.
