On November 7, in Phuket, Thailand, police were alerted by a local citizen to a group of foreign tourists who were reportedly driving recklessly and causing a disturbance on Koktan Road toward Saiyuan Road in Mueang District. Acting on the report, Chalong Police Station Chief Ekgarat Plai-Duang instructed his team to investigate. By 8:00 p.m. on November 8, officers identified nine British tourists who had rented motorbikes from Patong and were indeed engaging in reckless driving, as reported. The group was detained for questioning, and police verified their identification and motorbike rental documents. All nine individuals received fines and had their records updated accordingly.
