On November 10, Thai badminton player Kunlavut Vitidsarn, ranked 5th globally and seeded 1st in the tournament, won the men’s singles title at the Korea Masters 2024, a BWF World Tour Super 300 event held in Iksan, South Korea, with a total prize of $210,000. In his first final since earning a silver medal at the 2024 Olympics, Kunlavut faced China’s Wang Zhengxing, ranked 55th.

Kunlavut displayed sharp performance, taking the first game 21-18. He maintained his form in the second game, securing a 21-18 victory to win the match 2-0 in 50 minutes. This victory marks Kunlavut’s first title of the year, adding to his growing list of achievements.
