On November 10, Thai military spokesperson Maj. Gen. Withai Laitommaya announced a series of rehearsal events for the Royal Guard parade and oath-taking ceremony. These preparations, held at the Royal Plaza in front of Dusit Palace in Bangkok, are in honor of His Majesty the King’s upcoming 72nd birthday celebration on July 28, 2024. This highly formal event, organized by the Thai Armed Forces, reflects the military's respect and commitment to the King as Supreme Commander of the Thai Armed Forces.

Rehearsals are scheduled for November 10, 20, 24, and 30 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and may impact traffic on Sri Ayudhya Road and Ratchadamnoen Nok Avenue. The public is advised to avoid these routes during rehearsal times to minimize traffic disruptions.

Additionally, the Thai Armed Forces invite the public to view the live broadcast of the official parade and oath-taking ceremony, which will take place on December 3, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. This broadcast will be available on the Thai Public Broadcasting Service and the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand radio.
