On November 12, organizers announced the "EDM Highland Music Festival 2024," set to take place from November 23-24, 2024, at Forest Hill 1 in Khao Kho, Phetchabun. This outdoor festival marks the region’s debut EDM event in a cool mountain setting, attracting music enthusiasts to experience top DJs from Europe and Asia, including DubVision and Dimatik. The festival promises a wide EDM lineup—from house to hard styles—catering to a targeted audience of around 3,000 attendees.

Tickets are available for both days at 1,790 THB or for a single day at 990 THB. Organized to leverage the region’s cooler climate, the event will provide a refreshing contrast to other Thai EDM festivals, which are usually held in warmer areas like Bangkok and Pattaya. The festival is expected to generate up to 10 million THB for the local economy, drawing in both Thai and international tourists. With the average EDM attendee spending expected to surpass typical local visitor levels, Phetchabun is positioning itself as a premier music festival destination in Thailand.

Supported by local tourism associations, this event aligns with a broader effort to boost regional tourism and economic activity, which stakeholders hope will attract repeat visitors and future events in the area.
