On November 14, Koh Samui’s Na Phra Lan Pier saw a surge of young foreign tourists boarding speedboats to Koh Phangan for the upcoming Full Moon Party, coinciding with the Loy Krathong festival on November 15 at Rin Beach. Authorities, including Koh Samui’s police, tourist police, and harbor officials, provided support and security, with plainclothes officers monitoring the scene to ensure safety.

Upon arrival at Koh Phangan’s Thong Sala Pier, tourists were welcomed by security teams led by Police Colonel Panya Niratmanon and local officials, boosting visitor confidence with increased patrols and presence of special police units. The festive atmosphere on Koh Phangan is lively, with all hotels and resorts around Rin Beach fully booked. Organizers anticipate 7,000 to 10,000 tourists, many of whom are expected to attend both events, with some traveling back and forth from Koh Samui by speedboat.
