On November 22, 2024, it was reported that Newsweek, a prominent U.S. magazine, released its annual list of the world’s best hospitals for 2024. The rankings were based on online surveys conducted since 2019, involving over 85,000 medical professionals from 30 countries and evaluating 2,400 hospitals globally.
Thailand’s Bumrungrad International Hospital was the only Thai hospital to make the global ranking, securing the 130th spot. Domestically, Newsweek also ranked the top 20 hospitals in Thailand:
