Thailand’s national football team, ranked 96th globally, played to a scoreless 0-0 draw against Lebanon, ranked 115th, in a FIFA-sanctioned friendly match at Thammasat University Stadium on November 14. Head coach Masatada Ishii fielded a lineup featuring Sarunon Anuin as goalkeeper, with a backline of Nitipong Selanon, Elias Dolah, Saringkarn Promsupa, and Titathorn Aksornsri. Midfielders Peeradon Chamratsamee, Akkarapong Pomwiset, and Worachit Kanitsribampen supported forwards Phanthamit Prabphan, Suphanat Mueanta, and Anan Yodsangwal. Notably, Titathorn, Phanthamit, and Saringkarn debuted for the national team.
Thailand struggled to connect offensively in the first half, creating only one notable chance—a header by Phanthamit, which was saved by Lebanon’s goalkeeper. Ishii adjusted the lineup in the second half, bringing on Rungrath Phumichantuk and Teerasak Poeiphimai, which added energy but yielded no goals. A mid-second-half injury to Titathorn forced further substitutions, yet Thailand failed to break Lebanon’s defense.
Thailand will next face Laos on November 17 at 7:30 PM at Thammasat University Stadium.
