Lt. Gen. Samphan Yungphakul, President of the Thai Health Runners Association, announced the upcoming "Bangkok Marathon 35th Edition," scheduled for November 17, 2024. Representatives from the Royal Thai Police, the Department of Physical Education, and related organizations participated in the press conference held at the Army Club in Bangkok. The Bangkok Marathon, a long-standing annual tradition in Thailand since 1988, will take place along Sanam Chai Road, near the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, with race categories including the full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.1 km), mini marathon (10 km), and micro marathon (5 km).

This year’s event aims to promote fitness and health across all ages, raising awareness for sustainable health practices. Additionally, it seeks to boost tourism and share Thai culture with both domestic and international participants from 73 countries, offering a memorable experience with scenic views of Bangkok throughout the race route.
