On November 16, 2024, the People’s Party held a campaign rally in Ban Phue District, Udon Thani, to support Mr. Kanisorn Khurirang, candidate for Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) Chief. The rally, led by Pita Limjaroenrat, advisor to the Progressive Movement, emphasized long-term strategies, clean governance, and the need for better local services, contrasting these with the incumbent administration’s 12-year tenure.

Pita criticized the current PAO leader for proposing a clean drinking water policy only now, questioning the past 12 years of governance. He also addressed issues such as drug trafficking and police corruption, alleging ineffective solutions by the previous administrations. Pita highlighted Udon Thani’s evolving political identity, arguing that it is not solely a "Red Shirt stronghold" but a "capital of democracy" with diverse political preferences, including support for the Progressive Movement, Pheu Thai, and Thai Sang Thai parties.

Pita encouraged voters in Udon Thani, including those working outside the province or abroad, to participate in local elections. He framed this election as pivotal for improving healthcare, infrastructure, and job opportunities in the region.
