On November 6, Shopee notified its sellers that Kerry Express (KEX) will cease providing standard delivery services on the platform starting November 7, 2024. SPX Express and Flash Express will replace Kerry as the primary delivery options for Shopee sellers.

Shopee representatives explained that this change is due to Kerry’s internal policy adjustments, leading to the removal of Kerry’s delivery and drop-off services from the Shopee app. Shopee issued updates to sellers within the app, though some sellers reported not receiving notifications and have been encouraged to manually select a new courier service. For those who do not update their preferred courier, Shopee will assign the nearest available service by default.

In response, users noted similar changes on Lazada, where Kerry Express has also reportedly discontinued its delivery services. Some online commenters expressed confusion, questioning the underlying reasons behind Kerry’s withdrawal from both platforms.
